Naotora Kamiizumi (上泉 ナオトラ, Kamiizumi Naotora), also known as Berserker, is a Samurai Officer of the Izanagi Force.

Appearance

Naotora's hair is styles like a large cyan spikey afro with dark tips, she does have some bangs on her forehead and bangs of hair down the side of her face at about chin level. Her yellow eyes have layers or rings inside the iris.

She wore a unique type of uniform when she was intoduced, being in the form of a dress. Its a dress with a long skirt, she has a white shirt underneath and a bow wrapped around her waist. Her geppakuto sword is attached to the bow.

She later wore a more normal uniform with a black officer Izanagi Force jacket, with black shorts and leggings with boots. Her geppakuto sword is attached to the waist.

Personality

Naotora personality is shown to be quite shy and nervous in her day to day life. She can end up being quite obsessive, especially the case when it comes to being around Dora Sasaki, whom she has a crush on. Her personality is similar to a yandere character type. When fighting mononoke, her personality flips to become psychopathic and ruthless.

History

At some point in time Naotora messed up on a mission and spent a long time locked up inside feeling depressed, unable to go on missions. However after seeing Dora and Kusanagi in the news not being discouraged by other people she became addicted to following their endeavours. This lead to her mustering up the courage to go back to work, where she requested to work with them.

Weapons

Geppakutou Sword: Naotora's sword is able to amplify her supernatural energy output.

Powers & Abilities

Overall Abilities: Naotora is a samurai officer of the Izanagi Force and very powerful combatant. She was capable of defeating Goemon, a member of The Phantom Command, Nobunaga's most powerful retainers, with the help of fellow samurai officer, Rui Hosokawa.

Master Swordsman: As a samurai officer, Naotora is one of the seven strongest and most skilled swordsmen in the Izanagi Force. Her mastery is shown when she kills a giant mononoke with ease, surprising Dora Sasaki with how strong she is.

Enhanced Speed: Naotora is extremely fast, as shown by her ability to run on top of water.

Immense Supernatural Energy: As a Samurai Officer, Naotora possesses an immense amount of supernatural energy. During her battle with one of Dosan's Ironclad Double King, Naotora unleashes a tremendous amount of supernatural energy which is shown to be equal in size and pressure to Dora and Kusanagi who were able to score 978 points on the supernatural energy test.

Supernatural Sword Techniques

• Kodama Nezumi: Naotora slashes her opponent which causes an explosion with it's strike.

• Screaming Explosion Spinning Mouse: Naotora creates a circular explosion around herself to clear an area.

Trivia

• Naotora's "Kodama Nezumi" attack is named after the Yokai of the same name. The Yokai is a small ball mouse which is able to inflate itself like a balloon and rupture, creating a loud explosion. This explosion would kill the Kodama Nezumi.
• Her hair" explodes" after it gets wet, around 30 seconds and it pops back into shape. She has an inferiority complex about it.
