Heisuke Ujii (氏家 平祐, Ujiie Heisuke) is a Samurai Officer of the Izanagi Force.[3] He is also the top-ranking mononoke eliminator at headquarters for two years running.[4]
Appearance[]
Heisuke is a tall athletic young man with a small yet muscular build. He has teal colored hair styled downwards with a lighter shade of highlights on the ends. He has wide teal eyes and his facial expressions are often dull and intimidating, though they don't often represent how he is feeling. Heisuke wears the uniform for the Izanagi Force, with a dark coloured fleece sporting their logo. His uniform also has lighter colored trousers and long dark boots. He also carries his sword with him in a scabbard attacked to his hip.
Personality[]
As a high rank samurai and one of the most powerful members of the Izanagi Force, Heisuke is a very serious, imposing man with a great confidence in his own skills as a samurai. He seemes to be cold and distant with and is usually a lone wolf.
However, Heisuke is actually very shy and doesn't really know to comunicate with others and when he does usually tends to be rude and insulting with people, even if's not his intention to do it. He helps Dora Sasaki and Kusanagi because he likes and want to be friends with them, despite claiming he does it only because it could be benefitious to the Izanagi Force.
Heisuke takes his job extremely serious, exterminating every Mononoke with no hesitation. He would even go as far as treating his fellow samurai as weak or useless if they don't finish the job effiently. He told Ginchiyo Yagyu she didn't finish her duty and that she was weak. Despite this behavior, Heisuke cares about his teammates and subordinates. He faced three powerful mononoke because he wanted to avenge the samurais they murdered, and when he finally learned they killed them he released his rage and his supernatural energy. He doesn't like to do teamwork and often is seen working alone, likely because he is not able to cooperate with other samurais for his lack of comunication skills.
He tends to be narcicist and prideful, always wanting to be admired by the rest of people and having their atention. When anyone steel the atention and leave him behind Heisuke quickly gets mad and threats the other so he can have back the atention.

Geppakutou Sword: Heisuke's sword is able to amplify his supernatural energy output. This sword also has the power of a mononoke sealed inside of it.[3]

Overall Abilities: Heisuke is a samurai officer of the Izanagi Force and very powerful combatant.[5] He is the top-ranking mononoke eliminator at headquarters for two years running.[4] His combat abilities allowed him to easily overwhelm three powerful humanoid mononoke in battle by himself and kill two of them.[6] Heisuke is rumored to be the strongest samurai, to which Hanzo Miyamoto states that the rumor is true after seeing the samurai officer's skill level.[7]
Master Swordsman: As a samurai officer, Heisuke is one of the seven strongest and most skilled swordsmen in the Izanagi Force.[5] His mastery in swordsmanship is shown when he kills two humaniod mononoke with great ease, each with a single strike.[6]
Enhanced Strength: Heisuke has tremendous physical strength, able to send Dora Sasaki flying into a wall with a single strike while going easy on him.[8]
Immense Speed and Reflexes: Heisuke is an extremely fast combatant with extraordinary reflexes. He is able to swiftly dodge Hidehisa's attack and cut him across the chest in the same instance. He is also shown speed blitzing Hidehisa, killing the latter before he could even react. Kanbeh states that Heisuke's speed is too fast to keep up with.[6]
Immense Endurance: Heisuke possesses tremendous levels of endurance, able to survive Kanbeh's Dark Hades Blast at point-blank range and stand back up with only moderate injuries.[9]
Immense Supernatural Energy: As a samurai officer, Heisuke possesses an immense amount of supernatural energy. The sheer volume of his supernatural energy is great enough to visibly intimidate Kanbeh, Hidehisa, and Yoshihime, three powerful humanoid mononoke.[6]
Supernatural Sword Techniques[]
- Voracious Hulk: Heisuke releases the power of the mononoke sealed in his sword in the form of a monstrous flaming head. This technique can easily bite through his opponent and their attacks.[3] He can also use it defensively, as he coats himself in this power to defend against Kanbeh's Dark Hades Blast.
- Voracious Spirit Hulk: An attack similar to Voracious Hulk, this attack's supernatural energy is of a mononoke and can eat attacks.
- Voracious Hulk: Hail: Heisuke releases multiple monstrous flaming heads that can bite through more than one target. This technique consumes a massive amount of supernatural energy.[7]

- Heisuke's name could be a reference to Todo Heisuke, a samurai and captain of a squad in Japanese history.
- Heisuke's favourite things are being respected, dogs, and the rain.[10]
