True Friends (真の友人, Shin no Yūjin?) is the 26th Chapter of Gen Oosuka's Doron Dororon.
Summary[]
Due to Dosan summoning those strong mononoke, he was loosing his energy and needed more. Dora Sasaki and Kusanagi manage to confront him, but Dosan begs and pleads for them to forgive him. He uses this as an opportunity to attack them, but the duo are not fooled and Kusanagi wraps around Dosan's trunk before he's able to drain them. Dora then punches Dosan which sends him flying and ripping off most of his trunk.
Kanbei then arrives, seeing that Dosan is in a weakened state he absorbs him into an ore. Dora gets mad at him killing his own ally and attacks him. Kanbei says that he was no longer useful and Dora shouldn't be mad since he was going to kill him anyway. He compares him using Dosan to Dora and Kusanagi using each other, but they refute this by saying that they are friends. This causes Kanbei to maniacally laugh and they both prepare for an attack. Kanbei senses Naotora Kamiizumi coming towards them so he quickly attacks them and runs away, thanking them for their help. Dora and Kusanagi try and fend off the attack, but it's too hot and powerful. The attack then splits off into smaller pieces to attack Naotora, who comes from behind. She easily disposed of them and catches up with the duo,
Dora and Kusanagi thank Naotora for her help, and Dora gets mad at Kanbei escaping. Naotora apologises for doubting Kusanagi and Kusanagi apologises for running off alone. They all reconcile their friendship and Dora congratulates them on all their hard work as the sun rises. They then plan to head back to the hotel and get some sleep.
