Stray Leek Samurai (ストレイリークサムライ, Sutorei Rīku Samurai) is the second chapter of Gen Oosuka's Doron Dororon.
Summary[]
The chapter starts with a flashback of Kusanagi saving some humans from running into a Mononoke. However, Kusanagi gets chased and attacked by both the Mononoke and an Izanagi Force samurai. Kusanagi mentions how they have to do this alone.
Back to the present day and Kusanagi is with Dora Sasaki as they shape-shift into various things to try and blend in with him. Dora asks for Kusanagi to stay in their normal form since it's non-threatening. Kusanagi rejects this saying that everyone hates their kind and they don't want to make Dora a target by being spotted with them. They both plan to keep each other safe. Two samurai approach Dora from behind, Dora attempts to hide Kusanagi's existence from them, but they only came to warn him about how dangerous the area is. Kusanagi is seen drowning as they fled to the water and can't swim, Dora fishes them out.
Dora walks away with Kusanagi as a hat saying to be careful. A Mononoke suddenly comes out of the water and attacks the two samurai. Before one of the samurai gets ripped apart, Dora throws a sword-shaped Kusanagi at the Mononoke. Kusanagi is at first unable to pierce it but they push on, knocking the Mononoke into the water and killing it. Kusanagi asks the samurai if he is okay, he initially gets ready to fight him but Kusanagi insists that he takes care of his partner samurai. Dora runs by and picks up Kusanagi, as they run off the samurai yells to thank them. Kusanagi insists that he doesn't waste time and should get to a hospital. Dora says how Kusanagi is a good guy.
The two walk away together, Dora says that one day Kusanagi won't have to hide their existence anymore as they're a good person. They plan to make many more miracles happen together. They're happy to be partners and Dora says how they're like lone samurai, calling themselves "Stray Leek Samurai" after his childhood.
The next day Kusanagi is shape-shifted as headphones and Dora approves of it, the form allows them to whisper to each other. They go and patrol the town. Ginchiyo Yagyu is seen standing on the rooftops and identifies Dora and Kusanagi as the redheaded delinquent and a little white Mononoke.
